Getting ready for the Blue White game - things are crazy with the team right now - but we're soldiering on with our preparations.
The game is Saturday, April 21st, at 2pm. Parking lots open at 8am - and we'll be there when they do. We'll be parking in the lots outside the West stands.

The "theme" is, as always "Practice" - but we're adding an Italian flair this year (in honor of coach Paterno).
Currently, the forecast has no rain...
Hope to see you there!

I just got this from the leader of our tailgate -- I won't be there (still in Denver until the summer), but if you see this nonsense going on, tell them I said hello:
I believe I mentioned earlier today that it was on like Donkey Kong.
No.
NOW...... now it's f--king on! Check what we're making for the Blue White game - Batter-dipped, Deep-fried WHITE CASTLE BURGERS.
George's Deep-Fry Batter
Ingredients:
2 cups all-purpose flour
2 tbsp. sugar
1 tsp baking powder
1 large egg
1/2 cup seltzer
Preparation In a large bowl, whisk the flour, sugar, and baking powder. Add the egg and half the seltzer and whisk to combine. Add more seltzer as needed until the batter is the consistency of heavy cream. Start with frozen White Castle burgers. When you deep-fry them, they cook-the cheese melts, and everything. What can you say about White Castle? It's always good when you have the munchies, and deep-fried, it's twice the satisfaction.
We have a storied history of deep fried foods at the tailgate - but not deep fried burgers - twinkies, oreos, french toast sticks? yes. but not burgers.
I'd be interested to see how that goes.
I'm part of the snacks and desserts detail - oh, and 3D football helmet shaped jello shots.
You are both excellent men. Beaver Stadium is a Mecca for tailgaiters everywhere. while i won't be attending this years's game because i'm stuck in the desert. However, i will be participating in spirit by smoking up some ribs!
Viva tailgaiting! Viva State!
