Presently, ECL is broadcasting the 1989 Holiday Bowl. Penn State versus BYU. Penn State's defense was ranked #4 - and Ty Detmer was, well, he was Ty Detmer.

I was home for lunch so I watched the first 30 minutes of the broadcast (don't worry, the DVR is recording - I'll watch the rest tonight) - PSU started the game scoring lots of field goals (mildly similar to the current team - the attempts, that is). Detmer passed for over 500 yards that game - But PSU still won.


On Saturday (I think it's Saturday) - they're airing the 1990 PSU nd game. Anybody got a spare bus?
