Signs it's the off-season: Saturday

What the heck are we supposed to do on Saturday when there's no football? Shopping? Clean the house and do laundry?

It's not as if you can set aside a few hours each Saturday to watch your favorite basketball, hockey or baseball team - they play at all sorts of different times and on different days - You can't watch Nextel Cup racing - it's on Sunday -

you could watch some golf or tennis - but what's the point really, everyone knows that Sunday is the money day.
