One Quarter to Rule them All; Penn State 42 michigan state 12.

The Penn State Football Story - the final episode - of the regular season, that is. Penn State at Spartan Stadium - pre-game interview with Sean Lee, stating that the team would have to start fast - that didn't necessarily happen - not on offense any way - but the defense definitely showed up to play - all day.

Is Greene the new leader of the team? Is he the new Deon Butler?

The Penn State Story has a knack for making you forget any and all concerns and doubts you might have had during the game. Especially in the early portion - you would think that the team came out and dominated the game from the first whistle.

But as we know, that really didn't happen until the first whistle of the second half.

And what a second half it was - in the third quarter, Penn State put up 28 points - 28! That stirs up memories of some legendary PSU 3rd quarters.

And a fine retrospective of the season.

10 and 2 is a very respectable record - Sure, the Lions didn't face the fiercest of competition this season - but any 10 win regular season is something to be proud of.

There will be a lot of controversy in the coming weeks regarding in which bowl game the Lions will play - no matter the venue, here's hoping that it's a good game and that Penn State comes out on top.

Penn State v indiana; 2thelion Tailgate!

Per the tailgate email...

Hello Sports Fans,

We have our final home Penn State football game this week - and our final tailgate of the season. The Lions host the indiana hoosiers on Saturday, November 14, 2009 - kick off is at 12pm (EST). The game will be aired on the Big Ten Network.

The hoosiers wear crimson and cream (ie, red and white) - so check the piping and stitching on your outerwear - sometimes those little horses are red...

The current forecast is: cloudy with a high of 52.

Our theme this week is Italian - we'll be serving Italian beef sandwiches, a lovely antepasta tray, and an assortment of snacks and sweets.

Parking lots open at 7am. We'll be tailgating in the general admission section of lot 13 - email or call if you need directions. We'll be flying our PSU flag along with the Quebec Flag (I asked, and, apparently, of those available, the Quebec flag would, most likely, be the least offensive to the Italian community).

We'll be tailgating before and after the game - all are welcome - Contributions are appreciated but not necessary -

Penn State at michigan state game time announced.

Penn State will travel out to east lansing for their final game of the 2009 regular season - the Saturday, November 21st kick off is scheduled for 3:30pm (EST). The match-up against the spartans will be aired (regionally) on ABC/ESPN.

They've announced the start time for the Lions' final home game of 2009 - 12pm. The match up between the Nittany Lions and the hoosiers will be televised on the Big Ten Network.


...btw, Temple is bowl eligible. Seriously.
