Rinse and Repeat - Deon Butler impresses at Rookie conditioning program.

Following mini-camp, the Seahawk rookies have been taking part in a 2 week work-out before their summer break.

Seattle's strength and conditioning coach, Mike Clark, explained that it gives them a chance to see the strength levels of the rookies and to get them into a routine.

“So the beauty of this time with the rookie is, I already had them leveled – at least I think I did – so now I can just tweak them a little,” Clark said.

It happened the other day with wide receiver Deon Butler, when the team’s third-round draft choice displayed more strength in one drill than Clark had anticipated.

“So I was able to bump him a level in that one category,” Clark said.

You go Deon!

Tell The World, to Tell the Chickens...

that we're on our way.

Per CDT online...

The Patton Township Board of Supervisors, following the lead of State College Borough Council, approved an ordinance Wednesday that allows township residents in single-family homes to keep chicken hens.

The ordinance passed 3-1, with Josh Troxell, Jeff Luck and Walter Wise in favor and Bryce Boyer opposed. Chairman Elliot Abrams was not present.

The new regulation permits up to four chicken hens per single-family dwelling except on lots of 2 acres or more, where up to eight chickens are permitted.

Teach Them Well and Let Them Growl Like Nittany Lions.

The brainwashing continues.

We did some resistance swivel chair training this morning - of course, his 4 year old sister showed a little more dedication - but there is time.

Signs it's the off-season: Saturday

What the heck are we supposed to do on Saturday when there's no football? Shopping? Clean the house and do laundry?

It's not as if you can set aside a few hours each Saturday to watch your favorite basketball, hockey or baseball team - they play at all sorts of different times and on different days - You can't watch Nextel Cup racing - it's on Sunday -

you could watch some golf or tennis - but what's the point really, everyone knows that Sunday is the money day.

Oh well, happy offseason to you all - be sure to check out Nittany White Out's daily count down to the Season Opener...

Jordan Norwood has been working out with the Cleveland Browns while donning the number 2.
