In the lilt of Lions' laughter... we'll see them win it all...
The knights wear gold and black - which should be easy enough to avoid. The forecast is clear, but cool - so wear layers, but don't forget the sunscreen.
The game starts at 6pm (airing on BTN), so that leaves us with a good 9 hours of tailgating...
A dream really is a wish your heart makes.
Contrary to the above hyperbole, the theme this week is not (in fact) Disney (although I'm now thinking that would have been a brilliant choice)... No, we went for a little more bile... our theme is...
Irish.
How timely and clever? yeah. maybe not.
Anyway - our menu is full of traditional and fun adaptations of Irish American fare - including, but not limited to:
Variety of mini-pancakes (sausage; chocolate chip; blueberry; and, cranberry/white chocolate);
Cottage Bacon;
Shredded Corned Beef with Rye Toasts;
Irish Chicken Stew with mini popovers;
Meat Pies;
Scones;
Stout cupcakes;
Oatmeal cookies;
Soda bread;
Peach cake;
Meats & cheeses; and,
Uncail Al's Dóiter Kielbasa.
There will be some whiskey and Guinness - and a good time for all.
The lots open at 8am and we should be up and running by 9am.
Our spots are in the Green (Press Box/West Side) Lot - in the first row of grass parking - next to the soccer fields. We'll be flying a PSU flag and the national flag of Scotland (HEY! At least I'm leaving the Union Jack plates and orange juice at home; maybe). Contact us if you need specific directions.
As always - the more the merrier and all are welcome. Contributions of food and/or beverage are greatly appreciated but not mandatory - let us know if there's something specific that you must have (either food or gear) and we'll do our best to *make it work.*
Stop by and say *Top o'the Morning/Afternoon/Early Evening* or stay the whole day!
